Portillo's Hot Dogs Murals • Waterford Lakes 

Portillo's Hot Dogs opened up in Waterford Lakes out in Orlando, Florida and commissioned AKYROS to design and paint a series of custom exterior murals. These artworks celebrate Florida’s natural beauty and wildlife, featuring a surfing turtle, a lurking alligator, and a regal blue heron—creating a vibrant, engaging experience for customers in the drive-thru.

This project install was a collaborative effort, with Orlando-based artist Olivia Stafne assisting to ensure a timely completion—despite painting in the middle of hurricane season! We wrapped up just in time for the grand opening (with plenty of hot dog breaks along the way).
